![]() ![]() On the system report you shared, we noticed that your Operating System is not up to date, as the latest version is 22631, and you have version 22621.There is a new graphics driver available, so we would like to recommend you install the new driver, 31.0.101.4953, after running the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Remember that previous driver files and leftovers can affect the functionality of your system, and the DDU tool will eliminate all the previous driver installation files. ![]() ![]() We would be more than glad to continue to support assistance with your issue. I read on another thread that the Intel Iris XE might be poorly suited to LR, so I'm not sure if that's the culprit.Thank you for posting back in the Intel Communities. I'm hoping that someone will be able to give me pointers for if there's anything else I can do to help the laptop run LR better, or point out the issues with the laptop that could be causing the lag so that I can return it and get a more suitable laptop. change the crs:gpu_compute_quick_self_test_passed="False" to "True" in the Camera Raw GPU Config. updated the GPU with the latest driver. turned off 'Generate Previews in parallel'. I use Smart Previews anyway as I edit for external clients. increased the Camera Raw Cache to 15GB. changed the 'Use Graphics Processor' field to custom, and toggled on 'Use GPU for image processing'. I purchased a new Asus Vivobook 15 X1504ZA laptop (Intel i7, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD) last week for the sole purpose of being able to work outside of my small home office, but even with nothing else running (actively), the laptop experiences lag when using Lightroom Classic, especially the local adjustments features, and it adds several seconds per image onto my workflow which isn't going to be sustainable as I use these features all the time. ![]()
